Ed with a Leatherman tool
The year is 1992, and Lollapalooza was rolling across the country. On the sidestage was the Jim Rose Circus Sideshow, and one of the most reknown performers was Matt “The Tube” Crowley, known for forcing a concotion of ketchup, beer and other items into his stomach with a tube, extracting it back out into a Bile Beer, and daring anyone who would to drink it. Ed and Ministry’s Al Jourgenson got into a notorious “who can drink the most Bile Beer on the tour” competition, and legend has it that Ed won. This photo was taken by Matt The Tube from a series of photos he has of people holding the Leatherman tool he used to remove the tube from his stomach.
