So How Was RockBand With Matt?

by Kathy Davis on April 3, 2009

One poster to the official RockBand video game message board shared his experience playing the game online with Matt Cameron last Friday (March 27th):

I just got to play with Matt Cameron of Pearl Jam on Xbox Live. It was a pretty cool experience.  He played 2 songs (on RockBand) and his son played 1.  We played “Girls Not Grey” [by AFI], “Testify” [by Rage Against The Machine], and “Colony of Birchmen” [by Mastodon] (He) didn’t pick any “Ten” tracks.  He talked for a little bit but his son played 2/3 songs.  He said I “Was an awesome Rock Band gamer”. He was on medium (difficulty),  I played Expert;   I almost missed the chance to play too. I was on at first then when I tried to join it said “no room for that instrument” I quickly turned off the (game) and turned on (and) yes, I got in!! He  sent a voice message to everyone on his friends list saying that he “… would like to this again sometime.”

If you happened to play, we’d love to hear more about it!
