A press release from London’s O2 Arena website:
Pearl Jam announced today a handful of special performances in the United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands. Concerts are scheduled to take place on August 13 in Rotterdam, August 15 in Berlin, August 17 in Manchester and August 18 at The O2 in London. The band anticipates a return to Europe for a full-scale tour in the months following the release of their next album, which is tentatively planned for this Fall.
I’m thinking the boys could return to Europe in the fall, but since it costs so much to ship all their gear back and forth, it may be more likely in early 2010, perhaps before the band head to South America.
With Austin City Limits being in October, some U.S. dates around then might make more sense. And aren’t Asia and Down Under due for some dates as well? At the end of March, someone posted to the Message Pit about “Australia in November” rumors:
My friend is friends with someone really close to Mike and she says they are going to be in Australia in November. It’s a pretty reliable source.
We know it’s just rumor and speculation at this point, but the weather is awfully nice Down Under in November. It’s always good to keep our eyes and ears open about these things, right?
where they are, we want lots of this

is shipping to Europe more expensive than shipping to South America or Australia??
Hopefully, a large scale of world-tour will be following. Down under, so much better cause it’s getting closer.
Still expect that there’ll be Asian tour dates.
Please please please please… Just make it to Israel, it’s time…
