“Backspacer”? From Turtle to Album Title

TFT co-editor and Billboard.com editor Jessica Letkemann has up-to-the-minute PJ news!
- PJ recorded a video for an upcoming Cameron Crowe-directedTarget Ad at the Showbox this past Thursday. The song performed was called “The Fixer”
- Album tentatively titled “Backspacer”, set for early Fall release. Remember, “Backspacer” was the turtle that PJ sponsored this past year
- Showbox footage to be used for future Crowe-directed PJ documentary
- Still possible that more than one new song to debut on Conan

Please tell me this is a very very belated April Fool’s joke!!
Will people please quit bitching about the Target commercial!! The band isn’t shooting a video FOR Target. You won’t Jeff and Matt and Boom buying groceries there and saying “Target, the one-stop shop for all your shopping needs!” They were shooting a video to promote their OWN ALBUM, which just happens to be available AT TARGET! Wise up people, after 20 years they are not all of a sudden “going corporate.”
