A Spectrum of PJ Live Goodness

by Kathy Davis on July 8, 2009

While a Message Pit post from Kat regarding an upcoming official tour date announcement says “nothing today, come back tomorrow”, the Pearl Jam message boards and mailing lists are bathing in the healthy afterglow of this simple post from Phillymag.com:

Pearl Jam will appear at the Spectrum on October 28th, 30th, and 31st.
 Oct. 28th 8:00 PM   Oct. 30th 8:00 PM Oct. 31st 8:00 PM
3601 South Broad Street
Philadelphia, PA 19148

Edit:  The above copy and paste from Phillymag.com was pulled from their site after we posted this article.

I was in attendance when PJ  played the Spectrum April 28, 2003 and it was quite a night. Since the building, former home to the 76ers basketball  and Flyers hockey teams,  is set to be demolished in early 2010,  that the boys may be one of the last rock bands to play this legendary venue will be an amazing way to cement the building’s historical status.  I guess we’ll know “for sure” soon enough, eh?

Where would the Pearl Jam fan community be without the amazing Red Mosquito forum from TheSkyIScrape and the Bugs Mailing List that always have their fan fingers on the PJ news pulse?
