PJ Adding London Show August 11

by Kathy Davis on July 14, 2009

Though nothing official has yet been announced from Pearl Jam or the Shepherd’s Bush venue website, our pals at TheSkyIScrape have unearthed this announcement from NME.com:

Pearl Jam have announced an extra intimate UK show.

The band who play several UK arena shows next month, will now also play the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on August 11.

Tickets go on general sale from Thursday (July 23), although there is a pre-sale for those who pre-order the band’s next album ‘Backspacer’, out September 21, from hmv.com.

The venue is another wonderful historic building, built in 1903, and has a 2,000 person capacity. It’s likely a General Admission show – it should be a helluva good time!
