Ten Club Concert Poster Presale!

What a brilliant idea! Among the most sought after Pearl Jam collectibles are the always terrific concert posters that are available in limited quantities at shows.  Those brilliant powers that be over at the Ten Club have put posters for five upcoming U.S. shows on their site for pre-sale!

Currently available are these shows:  Calgary August 8th  – Toronto August 21 – Chicago August 23 & 24 and San Francisco August 28.

Now don’t rush over there in a panic – there are no poster images yet;  we don’t know if they are Ames or Klausen or…Tom Tomorrow even (just thinking out loud there -wouldn’t that be the coolest?)  We also don’t know if this affects quantities sold at shows or even if they are in fact the same exact ones that will be available at shows. (And certainly we have all seen print run color variant editions and test printings  in the past that up collectibility).

The one hitch is that the $7.50 shipping charge can’t be combined with other shipments (with escalating costs of shipping/handling these days, it’s understandable).

Bottom line is: go to PearlJam.com and buy now so you don’t have to worry about getting your poster tube in to the show or whether Joe Schmo is going to spill beer on your wares!  They are in the Goods section under -get this-Posters. :)

Legal mumbo jumbo on the sale from the site:

THIS IS A PRESALE FOR A LIMITED EDITION, SILK SCREENED, 2009 PEARL JAM TOUR POSTER. ARTIST AND DESIGN TO BE DETERMINED AT A LATER DATE. CREDIT CARDS WILL BE CHARGED AT TIME OF PURCHASE.

TEN CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.

LIMIT ONE PER MEMBER.

POSTERS MUST BE SHIPPED SEPARATELY, WE WILL NOT COMBINE SHIPPING. SHIPPING: $7.50 US/$11.00 WORLD.

POSTERS WILL SHIP WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF SHOW DATE.

ALL POSTERS ARE SOLD AS-IS. NO RETURNS. NO REFUNDS. NO EXCHANGES. NOT FOR RESALE.

Rock!

And super rock to AKM for the heads up!
