by Jessica Letkemann on July 30, 2009

A new Pearl Jam single, a trio of new entries on the Billboard charts. Following its release last Monday, July 20, “The Fixer” has been doing some good things on the radio. Today, the song debuts at No. 2 on the Rock Songs chart and No. 11 on the Alternative Songs chart; it’s also the “Airplay Gainer” on both of those charts. And fans up north have helped the track make the Canadian Hot 100 at No. 78.  Dig around in Pearl Jam’s whole chart history here.

Non related question here…have not heard anything about Boom on the new album, anyone know what Mr Gaspar’s status is?

“In sales.” Am I missing something? As far as I know, The Fixer isn’t available for sale anywhere except the vinyl from Ten Club, which is something that wouldn’t be counted on the chart.

It is insane that the fixer is not avaiable to be purchased – it has the potential to make serious impact on the charts
