Play a gig, surf, Play a gig, surf. It seems like the pace of the 2009 Australia / New Zealand affords the band and fans to take a breather by having one to two days between each gig.

Also, there was a great article “Pearl Jam Strikes a Chord With Perth Bands” following the Perth show about Ed seeing local band the night before the first Perth show.  As fans of Eddie, we are certainly not surprised by his genuineness to up-and-coming musicians and this is another great example.
