Brad Concert and Album News

by John Reynolds on February 26, 2010

Easy Street Records has some information on the new Brad album and an April 14 concert in Seattle:

Last week we told you that BRAD, the Seattle outfit featuring Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard, Shawn Smith (Satchel, Pigeonhed), Regan Hagar (Satchel, Malfunkshun) and Jeremy Toback, were looking at April for a reunion show. Well, the band just announced the date will be April 14 at the Showbox Market and promised to post a pre-sale ticket link on its website in the next few days. The “BRAD Corporation” also announced that a new album that has been in the works since 2006 is now finished. Titled Best Friends?, the 12-song album will be released “later in 2010″ on Pearl Jam’s Monkeywrench Records

Last week it was found that this new Brad album was planned for release, but we weren’t sure what was on it. This article confirms that Best Friends is a continuation of the Brad material started in 2006 and shelved.

Toback is back with them for this? I don’t think he was the bassist on the “Discovery Park” album, or is my memory horrid.

Anyway, I hope Toback plays on this new album…
