Denis Blairon, author of the O2 Arena review, summed up his cathartic experience writing notes:
“Eight months later, as I’m sitting alone, listening to the bootleg, writing these notes, I can’t help feeling a tear coming up. This is what makes Pearl Jam a great band, the ability to carry their listeners through so many different emotions, sometimes all at once. Emotions you can feel alone, with a bunch a friends, with your lover, or with more than 20,000 fellow fans in an arena big enough to fly a plane.”
