Video: Mike at Sundance – 1,2,3 Go!

by Kathy Davis on January 27, 2011

1,2,3, Go!  Everybody in the film universe descends on Park City, UT in January for the Sundance Festival, and this year, a member of Pearl Jam  got in on the fun.  Mike shredded his heart out at the Slasher Films party at the House Of Blues. Thanks to YouTube uploader, via a Dave Matthew’s Band fansite, here’s some great video featuring the superb Mike McCready, along with Dave Matthews Band bassist Stefan Lessard, and Brett Scallions and Ken Schalk, singer and drummer for the band Fuel.As TheSkyIScrape reported earlier this week, the gang of talent performed several songs at the party – which incidentally was sponsored by guitar god Slash himself, power behind the throne at Slasher Films. Pretty Vacant (Sex Pistols), Revolution (The Beatles), Mother’s Little Helper (The Rolling Stones), Blister in the Sun (Violent Femmes), I Wanna Be Sedated (The Ramones), Destroyer (The Kinks), Fire (The Jimi Hendrix Experience).

Well, you know, here is “Revolution” and the scorchingly hot “Fire”…Mike’s previous participation with the Experience Hendrix tribute tour served him well!

Super way rock!
