Pearl Jam Reveals Fall North American Tour!

by Jessica Letkemann on July 8, 2013

The countdown clock has hit zero hour and the big reveal is neither the album nor the single but the fall tour that fans have been guessing about ever since the site posted in January that that, “fall tour dates in the US will be announced in the coming months.”

Ten Clubbers get out your credit cards and start your engines because fan club tickets for the North American trek on two legs — which kicks off Rocktober 11 in Pittsburgh and makes its way through arenas across the land before winding up at home in Seattle on December 6 — are on sale NOW over at, via the newish lottery system. Current members have til July 15 to make their picks and enter the drawing. The public ticket on sale will be on July 27.

Now that the countdown clock whipped us into a speculative frenzy, we’ve got this big tour news to digest while we attempt to remain calm trying to be patient for word on the new album and single. They’ve given no word on when they’ll divulge that info, but the countdown clock has now RESET itself to count down to Thursday, July 11 at noon P.T.  Yep, to paraphrase that familiar song, the waiting drove us mad. But on the other hand, good things come to those who wait. We hope so!

Plus, today, Pearl Jam also posted a little tour announcement video to the official YouTube page that shows a collection of Pearl Jam live moments set to some music we’ve instrumental music I’ve heard before. Good times.
