Growin' Up - Pearl Jam turns 18!
"Lines form on my face and my hands
Lines form on the left and right
I'm in the middle ... the middle of life
I'm a boy and I'm a man
I'm eighteen and I LIKE IT"
"I'm Eighteen" - Alice Cooper
We all know the members of Pearl Jam are aging like a fine wine; but as a collective, Pearl Jam are at an age that has many rewards for us humans. Although the band is not touring or outwardly celebrating this fine age, let's take a look and see what they can do now that they've turned eighteen!
Pearl Jam, age 18, can now ...
- Vote! Even though they weren't able to vote before, Pearl Jam have publicly supported Bill Clinton (1992), Ralph Nader (2000), John Kerry (2004) and Barack Obama (2008). They've also supported "Rock The Vote" and "Vote for Change". Yes sir, even about it!
- Get a tattoo. Mike McCready loves tattoos and likes to talk about them. Ed has one and its meaning is "deep". Even former members of Pearl Jam have Pearl Jam tattoos. Also, it seems that nearly every Pearl Jam fan has a tattoo.
